MEET DIRECTOR ANGELA KAY PIRKO
Angela Kay Pirko (Director) is a DC-based director, actor, and playwright/adapter. She is the resident director/co-producer of Nu Sass Productions, a producer and frequent director at Shakespeare in the Pub, and a two-time member of the Directors Studio at Shakespeare Theatre Company. She is a previous attendee of the Lincoln Center Theatre Directors Lab and a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society: UVA Chapter. Recent credits include: Marx in Soho, (Nu Sass, Helen Hayes Recommended), TAME. (WSC Avant Bard),Copenhagen (Theatre J, Asst.), Ella Enchanted (Asst., Adventure Theatre MTC). She was recently honored by DCMTA as one of their Best Directors of 2016 in Professional Theatre. She has a B.A in Drama from University of Virginia.www.angelakaypirko.com
